Corduroy headband - Bandeau en velours côtelé

Almost anything can be recycled. I made this headband with the hem from a pair of worn-out corduroy pants. I kept the rest of the pants for other projects and was going to throw the hem away when I noticed it was the perfect size for a headband. I stitched the frayed edge and added some handmade felt flowers from leftover pieces (from the heart and flower I showed yesterday.) I wore it last week to work and got a lot of lovely comments from the kids.

On peut recycler pratiquement tout. J'ai fait ce bandeau à partir d'un bord de pantalon en velours côtelé trop usé. J'ai gardé le reste du pantalon pour d'autres projets et j'étais sur le point de jeter le bord quand je me suis rendue compte qu'il avait la tailler parfaite pour faire un bandeau. J'ai cousu le bord effiloché et j'ai ajouté des fleurs faites à la main avec des restants (provenant du coeur et de la fleur d'hier.) Je l'ai porté la semaine passée au travail et j'ai reçu plein de bons commentaires des enfants.
