Free background and a few links - Fond gratuit et quelques liens

 Hello dear friends,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and that the new year's celebrations did not drain you too much. I spent New Year's eve with my family and we had a good meal and lots of laughs. On New Year's day though, I stayed with only my Diesel and relaxed. Oh, and I played with my watercolours! Below, you can see a background I did on a large piece of watercolour paper (approximately 11" x 14".) I had to scan it in two parts but you get the idea. And as I'm feeling generous, I'm giving you the chance to download them and print them if you want to use them in your own art (just let me know if you decide to do so.)

J'espère que vous avez tous eu une fin de semaine merveilleuse et que les célébrations du nouvel an ne vous ont pas trop vidés. J'ai passé le réveillon avec ma famille et nous avons mangé un bon repas et avons bien rigolé. Le jour de l'an, par contre, je suis restée avec juste ma Diesel et j'ai relaxé. Oh, et j'ai joué avec mes aquarelles! Plus bas, vous pouvez voir un fond que j'ai fait sur un grand papier aquarelle (27cm x 35cm.) J'ai du le numériser en deux parties mais ça vous donne une bonne idée. Et comme je me sens généreuse, je vous donne la chance de les télécharger et de les imprimer pour vous en servir dans votre art (laissez-moi savoir si c'est le cas.)

If you are looking for a new project for the new year, you might want to check out Elsie Flannigan's "Project Restyle" where the idea is to "use unwanted, damaged or unusable vintage or used items to ReStyle." I will definitely try to play along as I love to reuse old items.

Si vous cherchez un nouveau projet pour le nouvel an, allez voir le "Project Restyle" d'Elsie Flannigan où l'idée est de prendre un objet seconde main ou vintage qui ne sert plus ou qui est endommagé et de lui donner une deuxième vie. Je vais définitivement essayer de participer parce que j'aime réutiliser de vieux objets.

If you're more into art experiments, why not try Tammy's Creative Experiments over at Daisy Yellow. She posts new experiments every month and you can try as many as you like. I already found at least two that I want to try this month.

Elle publie de nouvelles expériences à chaque mois et vous pouvez en faire autant que vous le désirez. Il y en a au moins deux que je veux essayer ce mois-ci.
